The Ministry of Labor (“MoL”) has launched this website under the name of (Labor Education) (“Website”), to act as a guidance tool for the Labor Law and its’ Implementing Regulations, and to make its’ articles and details available for easy public access and usage (including private sectors, business owners, human resources managers and experts).
Website users undertakes to abide by the terms, conditions and limitation of liability set herein while using the Website, which shall govern the relationship between each user and the MoL.
The MoL has the right, upon its’ sole discretion, to amend or change the terms, conditions or limitation of liability related to the Website. It further has the right to set its’ usage terms, information, shape or format from time to time without prior notice.
The content of the Website, including all guidance materials, whether written, graphics or calculating tools, are not legally binding to the MoL, and shall not be presented, published, or announced as a binding source of information from the MoL before any administrative, judicial, quasi-judicial, or official authority in Saudi Arabia. It shall be for the purpose of guidance only.
All information, data, slogans, logos, trademarks and other Website’s content is the sole property of the MoL and it is owner of the copyright and/or any other intellectual property related thereto. The Website users are not permitted, without the prior written consent of the MoL, to infringe any intellectual property rights of the MoL whether by copying, using, downloading, distorting, amending and changing the content of the Website or uploading it to another website source.
If the MoL makes use of statements, slogans, phrases, suggestions and ideas that were provided by users, they shall be considered as the sole property of the MoL without consideration. User will not have the right to claim, request or raise a lawsuit regarding the ownership of the copyright and/or any intellectual property related to the statements, slogans, phrases, suggestions and ideas submitted or sent by the user. The user shall not attempt to withhold the MoL from using, licensing, copying, reviewing or publishing them, whether immediately or subsequently, within Saudi Arabia or abroad.
The MoL does not guarantee, explicitly or expressly, the continuing functioning of the Website without any errors or dysfunction, whether for a short or a long period of time, and whether the error or dysfunction arose from the MoL or as a result of an unforeseen event beyond its’ control.
The MoL endeavours to keep the information up to date and correct, but does not make any representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, data, graphics, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance users place on such information is therefore strictly on their own risk. The MoL does not guarantee the accuracy and reliability of files, documents, data, information reviewed, read, or downloaded by website users and its’ conflict with any other system in the user’s computer device, or its’ affect in corruption or loss, fully or partially, to any information, date, or systems in the device or any device connected thereto.
The usage of the Website’s content, including information, data, graphics, or calculating tools is under the personal responsibility of user, and the MoL shall not be held liable for any arising results. The user is obligated to ensure that all information, data, graphics and services provided in the Website meet his/her specific requirements.
The user acknowledges that any unauthorised use of the Website may give rise to claim of damages by the MoL and may be considered as a criminal offense before the competent authorities.
The MoL shall not liable, under any condition or circumstance, for any direct or indirect, accidental or subsequent and private or exceptional damages arising out of using or disregarding the content and information provided in the Website, and the inquiries answer forms of “Your Labor Advisor” service.
The MoL provides the legal education Website and “Your Labor Advisor” service as a public service to deliver labor information, guidance and clarification with relation to the Labor Law and its’ Implementing Regulation, increasing awareness of rights and obligations of working parties.
